ABOUT US: Deborah J. Mandt

Deborah J. Mandt had over 15 years experience in the medical profession, most recently as a Pathologists' Assistant, before becoming an attorney. She graduated from Capital University Law School and specializes in medical malpractice and personal injury claims.

While working full time and pursuing her law degree, she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Business Associations I and was a frequent member of the Dean's List. She was active in the Woman's Law Association (WLA) at Capital University, and served as the Vice President. In addition to her duties with the WLA, Deborah was active as an Orientation Ambassador, Peer Advisor, Student Mentor, Volunteer for Informational Open Houses, Student Bar Association and Moot Court.

Upon graduation from Capital University Law School, Deborah was awarded the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Woman Law Graduate Award, earned a concentration certificate in Dispute Resolution, and was granted membership in the Order of the Curia.

Deborah graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science of Clinical Laboratory Sciences in 1992, and completed a Fellowship Program as a Pathologist Assistant in 1995. While working, Deborah served as the Chair of the Laboratory Safety Committee and as a committee member on the Hospital Safety Committee, the Laboratory Quality Assurance committee, and the Laboratory Inspection Preparation Committee. In addition, Deborah was a College of American Pathologist Laboratory Inspector and served as a committee member of the American Association of Pathologists' Assistants Conference Committee. While working for Children's Hospital in Columbus, she also presented numerous educational lectures locally, as well as presented a "poster presentation" at the Society of Pediatric Pathology meeting in Vancouver Canada.

Deborah is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the Ohio Association for Justice. She has been with Blue Wilson + Blue since graduating from law school in 2004.
